PRIVATE REFUGEE SPONSORSHIP
Welcome Corps is a new program that empowers everyday Americans to sponsor refugees privately. You can apply to form a Private Sponsorship Group (PSG) to welcome refugees into your community and assist newcomers as they build new lives in the United States. Private sponsorship allows groups of at least 5 people in the U.S. to provide initial welcome and support to refugee newcomers – from the initial airport greeting to securing housing, jobs, and school enrollment, private sponsorship groups commit to walking alongside refugees for their first 90 days in the community.

Help more asylum seekers in Central Texas receive good legal representation through American Gateways, the organization featured in ACROSS.
JOIN A COMMUNITY OF WELCOMERS
We Choose Welcome is a grassroots community seeking to mobilize and equip women of faith to build and cultivate a welcome movement from their tables at home to the halls of Congress. We hope to empower our community to take action for the vulnerable in both our personal lives and through advocating for just immigration policies.
HOST A SCREENING FOR A GROUP
Host a screening of ACROSS with a group from your church or organization to help humanize asylum seekers. We’ll provide special study materials to help you create healthy conversations surrounding immigration.
